C. Raine and I used to work together at the same job and once we found out we both were into music, we instantly became friends. He approached me about doing a mixtape together and I was a little skeptical at first because I am a slow writer and I know this. I let him know if he wanted to do a mixtape he would have to take the lead on the project because he'll be waiting forever if I spearhead it. So he did just that. He started banging out verses and coming over to my crib to record them after work. This inspired me to hold up my end of the bargain so I started writing to match his work ethic. Next thing you know the project was done in less than 2 months. I had been playing around with the Hip Hop Hoarders title for a while because it was a title I planned to use for a future EP I was thinking about releasing. When I shared the title with C. Raine, he liked it so we decided to roll with it. We shot like 4 or 5 videos for this project, they're up on youtube. Hip Hop Hoarders part II will be dropping as soon as I get to writing..hahaha
